Juan was raised on the Point Arena Reservation around family and community, and growing up with those elements shaped the person he is today. At 19 he moved to Santa Cruz, California to experience life off the reservation and to find new opportunities. He is the host of the Burn The Wagon podcast, an Instagram show aimed at dismantling capitalism, patriarchy and colonialism.
